Had both sides installed in under an hour. I drove from Austin to Stillwater, Oklahoma the day after the install with no problems. I also recommend using the online pay option and you can pick up the part in store and I saved 20% off of the price of the parts, making them by far the least expensive of all of the major parts suppliers in town. All I did was pay online using my debit card, gave them an hour to receive my order and to pull it, then arrived at the store, gave them my name and order number, and my parts were waiting for me at the counter. They don't even charge your card untill you arrive and verify that it it the right part. Very hassle-free. I will use this method in the future.

The product looked just like the old one, except that it is not wired for ABS. When I ordered it the web said that this one fit my truck and when I went to the ABS model it said that this one would not fit my truck. Their experts need to get it togeather on what these parts fit.

I found the part quickly and easily thru the Avance website and the special on line discounts and perks they provide make buying anything from them a great deal and transaction. I also like the fact that I can pick up the item from the store immediately. Another thing I like about Advance is they now own CarQuest which I have been buying from for years. Easy ordering, easy pick up, quick and fast processing make everything just flow smoothly. The parts I hve been purchasing hold up and last and i don't have to worry about the products I purchase from Advance Auto.......

The wheel bearing were purchased as a direct replacement for my Dodge 1500 that began to roar while driving at 109,000 miles. The wheel bearing seem to be very heavy duty. They bolted right on perfect fit.

                Hi,
I have a 2005 Dodge ram 1500 5.7 V-8. My front wheel bearings need to be replaced. Can I just change the bearing or do I have to replaced the whole bearing/hub assembly?

                Thanks,
                Asked on 5/31/2016 by Dave

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

Good question, Dave! You can change just the bearing instead of whole hub assembly. The bearing should not have ruined the hub, but you will need to press it.

My truck has 150k miles on it. Should I replace just the bad wheel hub or both at the same time?

                  A:

Hi Dave, that's a good question! You can replace hubs individually, unless that also includes the brake rotors, which may be way out of specification, due to the bad hub. Mis-matched rotors can lead to some squirrelly brake action.

I do not have front ABS but the left front hub still has a speed sensor (the right front does not). I notice in this picture that your replacement doesn't have a speed sensor built into the hub. I don't believe this part will work for my truck. What part number should I order?
