High quality part. Most times I see that OEM parts are recommended on online forums and repair guides. However, I discovered that this part exceeded the quality of the OEM. I put the parts side by side at the local store and the aftermarket part was more refinined with smother finishes. I would not hesitate to purchase the cheaper aftermarket parts. My ABS light was on and immediately went out when I replaced the wheel hub. The ironic thing is I changed that same hub before with the OEM part and it failed quickly.

I heard not so good things on this "cheaper" wheel bearing. but budget tight I bought this over the MOOG. Bad idea. This wheel bearing lasted LESS than a year. No off road use or hard driving. Since DAY ONE the ABS sensor never worked, which meant that my ABS was off. They wanted to returned it. Tearing a wheel hub off and on is not what I consider fun. I figured I would replace it sometime this summer. I had NO idea that it would fail so quickly. I should have learned when I put one of these on my 2000 Explorer and had the ABS issue. But again, I was budget tight. I'll go broke before I buy this JUNK again.

Replacement front bearing hub. Middle price, seems to be well made, time will tell , Fords seem to eat these bearings up.

I would like to highly recommend to anyone but this part, even if your on a budget do not! Spend the money get the moog. I read the reviews thought maybe they just got one in a bad batch, well needless to say the first on lasted about 2 months before pretty much exploding and the second on just hit month 8 and is also gone and needing to be replaced. I like advance autos service how ever I will never buy their brand again.

                            A:

I'm happy to help, Tom! This Driveworks Hub and Bearing Assembly (Part No. NT515029) is engineered to fit the truck with 4WD and 4-Wheel ABS and has 5 studs and has 14mm studs.

The other options from Driveworks are Part No. NT515028 (5 lug, 4WD, 2-Wheel ABS, 14mm lug studs), Part No. NT515022 (7 lug, 4WD, 2-Wheel ABS, 12mm lug studs) or Part No. NT515030 (7 lug, 4WD, 4-Wheel ABS, 12mm lug studs).

From my research I found that the change to the larger lug studs occurred on 11/27/1999 for trucks in the 2000 model year.
