Comments about Driveworks Hub and Bearing Assembly:

The figment was correct but the wheel studs were not collared like the factory ones and the ones shown in the picture. The threads went all the way to the face.

Comments about Driveworks Hub and Bearing Assembly:

Already replacing one I purchased a little over a year and a half ago. (The warranty is only good for a year of course.) I'm a little dissapointed about the life span of this product, especially since I only put 13k miles on the vehicle since it was installed, with no offroad driving. The fact that it is immediately available is the main reason I will purchase it again. In addition, I had purchased one in 2009 for the opposite side of the vehicle, and it still seems to be going strong. Not sure if this is a quality control issue with the one that failed quickly or just a fluke.

Comments about Driveworks Hub and Bearing Assembly:

I just installed them, test drove, and there is a whinning and squealing sound coming from the hubs.I recognize them being tight when they arrive, I read the forum before I purchased them and someone else had mention the same thing as well, I am hoping that this is just a break-in period versus removing them and purchasing a different brand.Everything bolted up and align with ease, I am hoping that it is just a break in period.

For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

Its great AAP wants to encorage you to purchase a repair manual, you should have one if your going to keep the car long term, but it doesnt answer your question

Yes it will be hard to turn as the bearings are preloaded to remove all play. They will run in very shortly.
