          V-10 engine on a Ford F-53 chassis " Motorhome"

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Good question John! Normally, you must change your vehicle's fuel filter at 50,000 miles. Subsequent filters should also be changed at least every 50,000 miles, but changing them annually is even better. This is especially true once the car is at least seven years old, because rust, debris and other contamination builds up in the fuel tank and can clog the filter faster. However, it is always recommended to refer the vehicle owner's manual for a specific fuel filter change interval.

            A:

The filter may be located anywhere between the fuel tank and injector fuel supply rail or throttle body. I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
