          Comments about Driveworks Fuel Filter:

The filter itself is of good quality from what I can tell. Very low cost when bought using a discount code.

Installation may be a little puzzling, depending on what kind of connections your car uses. Mine did NOT use the plastic clip which was included. On my Sunfire, I pushed a black plastic ring-thing into the fuel connector. This relieves pressure on some springy retainers, allowing the old filter to be pulled out of the connector.

If your has this type of connection, and the black thing has broken off, do not fear. You can buy (or possibly borrow) a small tool from Advance Auto that clamps around the fuel filter nipple, allowing you to push on those retainer clips.

The DriveWorks filter has a longer nipple than other brands. It makes using the removal tool easier.

            Comments about Driveworks Fuel Filter:

Really not much to say about a fuel filter. It fits my car. It's practically impossible to tell how well it is working when your old one isn't clogged.

Installed this with a new fuel pump. Which I definitely recommend you get a fuel filter when replacing the pump.

              Comments about Driveworks Fuel Filter:

I can not stand to change fuel filters of this kind. Turns out the fit up made it an easy fix. After replacement, priming the fuel line, and checking for any leaks. The engine fired like it should.

Why pay more? Product numbers are the same as Purolator. If you've never replaced your fuel filter, pay to have it done professionally the first time - then DIY annually.
