      A:

I'm happy to help, Jim! The front wheel bearings on your 1987 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z 2.2L L4 Turbo will need to be pressed in. A c-clamp and a universal puller can be used to remove the inner bearing race. To press the new Driveworks Front Wheel Bearing (Part No. S-513006) into the knuckle you will require special tool kit Part No. C-4811 or equivalent and special tool C-4698 or equivalent to install the new seal into the bearing recess.

On this vehicle it is not necessary to disassmble and repack wheel bearings. The bearings must be broken to disassemble them. Replacement is recommended if the bearings are worn or damaged.
