Comments about Driveworks Front Wheel Bearing:

When it comes to wheel bearings, technique in installation is just as important as product material composition. Anyone who has a basic understanding of principle and application will not have a problem with this product, however essential tools are necessary for proper alignment and positioning for allowing success of installing of bearing to hub. This is not a job for a hammer it kind of guy. Finesse and care are called for when installing precisioned machine parts. This is what I've learned in my 45 years of automotive trade, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Comments about Driveworks Front Wheel Bearing:

Went through three of these bearings. One lasted 2 weeks one was junk as soon as the wheel touched the ground and the third went for a record two months. Everything was installed properly and torqued to factory specs. Spend a few more dollars and get something name brand for this application. I've plenty of other drive works stuff with good results just not here

Looks nice, bad machining

Comments about Driveworks Front Wheel Bearing:

When the bearing is installed and the axle drawn tight the wheel is loose in the bearing. the inner race is too long on one or both halves (there are two inner race sections) and when the hub nut is tightened to spec the wheel wobbles. The ball bearings are effectively running in a race that is too large, which leads them to rapid failure (weeks or months). Also, since the wheel is loose the car cannot be properly aligned.
