Comments about Driveworks Front Wheel Bearing:

      Here's the deal -

You need both a hub puller and a bearing press. The bearing press that Advance offers you #46 will work, but it's not designed for this job. My stores did not offer the "Powerbuilt 23-Piece Front Wheel Drive Bearing Remover and Installer Kit."

      1. Pull the hub with the knuckle still attached. If you pull the hub and the outer race is attached to the hub - buy a new hub. I spent a day trying to get the race off. The zone had the hub for nine dollars - yes, that's correct. And it came with a new wheel nut (that you're suppose to replase anyway).

      3. Pressing out the old bearing was the hardest part. Pop the "C" clip (easy) and use tool #46 and press it. The problem with #46 is there was no reciever that was wide enough. I did the old "brut force/hammer method" - which work after I got it started with the press.

      4. Pressing in was easy. A touch of grease, pop on the "C" camp. Bolt it up - and awy you go.

Probably a 2 hour job if I did it again.

      Bottom Line - It's like a new CAR !!!
