Comments about Driveworks Control Arm Front Upper Right:

These are not a long term fix. I installed this control arm on my Accord twice. The first installation lasted about 8 months before the bushings started creaking and popping; the second installation made it about 3 months without making any noise. ACDelco's are lasting much longer than these

Comments about Driveworks Control Arm Front Upper Right:

Purchased and installed upper control arms in May 2014 and they are both creaking from being dry/no grease 6 weeks later! The creaking is VERY bad, it is straight metal to metal! Like the factory ones these have a type of ball joint rather than the rubber bushings where the two mounting bolts go through to bolt it to the car. It is not possible to grease them, no grease fitting just like the factory ones. They should not require additional grease like most modern ball joints that are sealed! Beware buying after market parts that have anything to do with any type of ball joint from Advance! I have had nothing but problems over the past 5 or 6 years with them from ball joints that go dry/wear out to cheap dust boots that are paper thin and tear before you get it installed! I swore I was going to use OEM wherever ball joints were involved, I went against my better judgment here and will once again be doing the repair twice! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PARTS!

Perfect fit for 2002 Acura TL Type S. My Haynes manual said strut removal was necessary but that was not the case; right bolt came out between springs and left bolt came out once arm could be moved around. Can't assess durability, but install was a piece of cake and the price was right. I think I paid Acura dealer $450 to replace the other side a couple years ago. Live and learn. NOTE: unit comes with new castle nut, but no cotter pin.

Comments about Driveworks Control Arm Front Upper Right:

Installing was somewhat of a pain, but the part is almost identical to the OEM part that I removed. People that complained about "poor fit", well I'm not sure what to tell you. It fits as it is supposed to. Getting the top two bolts out then back in takes some time, but if you jack up the hub assembly and compress/depress the shock, the bolts will eventually find their way out. As for durability, I haven't tested it yet but will update this review if it should fail prematurely.

Comments about Driveworks Control Arm Front Upper Right:

I installed one of these on a Honda Accord. It was difficult to fit into place but it has held up for a year so far. I also installed one on my Acura TL. It also was a difficult install and it failed in one week. It was replaced under warrantee and so far it's holding, but was also a difficult fit. So out of three, all where too tight and one failed quickly. Next time I will use another brand.

Product as described, earlier posts said the part holes wouldn;t line up right,,, In my case everything went in smooth, You just have to know what your doing and use common sense. The only issue i saw with this is it didnt have a nipple fitting for grease to put more in if needed. Othet than that product works fine so far.
