  • Different Sized Bolts

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly:

Piece appeared to match original part removed from car, however, the bolts were different sized from the original equipment. The original part used 18mm and 21mm bolts, the new part used 18mm 21mm and 22mm bolts. As I didn't have this sized socket on hand I had to go out to the store with the new control arm just to check the size and purchase the correct socket to so I could install. Aside from this, the piece seems to work very well. The size issue is an inconvienience but did not alter my opinion on the product.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly:

The product was worked exactly as advertised. Bushings were solid and new ball joint assembly was well made and fitted with dust boots securely attached to the ball joint housing. Installation was straight forward once old/worn control arms were removed. The performance improvement results were very noticeable returning the vehicles ride comfort, handling stability, precise steering control and front end ride height back to new vehicle level. I was genuinely surprised at the significant improvement these control arms made to the overall performance of an 11 year old vehicle. THe vehicle is a joy to ride in again. Highly recommend this product!

Instead of replacing a ball joint, I just replaced the whole arm. It was decently easy to do the job and didn't require any special disassembly.
