Purchased this filter for an '07 Avalon. It would not sit in the slot properly because it is so flimsy. It went in but was not sealed completely. It did stop pine needles from collectin in the heater but I doubt is stopped dust. This is not even close to the original cabin filter. You save moiney with this filter but get very poor performance. Next time I'll pay more for quality - suggest you do too.

Comments about Driveworks Cabin Air Filter:

Works fine but a little confusion on the installion. The Toyota filter has an arrow that must point up. After market filters usually have an arrow that shows the direction of airflow and must point down. This filter has an arrow but doesn't really say if it's 'up' or 'airflow'- the directions tell you to point the 'flow' arrow up. So, is it a flow arrow (in which case it should point down) or is it a 'this side up' arrow. I pointed the arrow up but am still not 100% sure that's correct.

Comments about Driveworks Cabin Air Filter:

Extremely easy to install. Make sure you check the arrow on the cabin filter cover. If its up like mine was make sure the filter arrow points up, if it does not turn the filter upside down.or check with Advanced auto salesperson. Filter went in easily, make sure the arrow is facing front.

Wrong part number for a 2012 Toyota Sienna LE. DW-35677 is way too large to fit into the slot the OEM cabin air filter came out of. Have to take it back, Advance Part number is way off.

Comments about Driveworks Cabin Air Filter:

It took longer to empty the glove box than it did to install this! The fit was exactly like the one I replaced, which I believe was the original filter. I bought the vehicle used and the filter was just about clogged. Some people said that it didn't fit properly, or that it was flimsy, but it seemed fine to me. I guess I'll know exactly how good it is when I go to replace it. I have used this brand filter in my previous vehicle and never had any issues or complaints

Perhaps the people who had issues should check that they are purchasing the correct filter.

Hi Ram, I'm glad to help you! The product image is only a reference and the actual part may vary from that. This filter has an arrow on the filter showing the direction of air flow. Install it with the arrow pointing down, opposite of the arrow of the factory filter. The included instructions say this, but I think people may get confused and try to match the arrows. If you look at the filter you removed, the dirt and large particles will be on the top side, indicating the flow is from the top to bottom.
