            • Q:

I have a Chevy truck that calls for a drive belt 44.501 circumference. It is a 1976 C10 and the belt it calls for is to large to tighten up properly and do not know where to start to get a belt that will work. I have checked other years and they all call for the 44.501 circumference. The alternator bracket is OEM with an Edlebrock intake. I guessing something changed when I installed the intake.

Hi Michael, glad to assist you! Your 1976 Chevrolet C10 calls for a drive belt 44.501 circumference. As you assumed, there may be some issue while installing the intake. However, I would suggest you to take your vehicle and thoroughly checked with a certified mechanic before buying the parts that may/may not solve the problem.
