Comments about Driveworks Air Conditioning Compressor with Clutch - Remanufactured:

The Compressor was a Direct Fit. I was Surprised the MDX had an additional Adapter that had to be removed, from the OE unit to this replacement.

After install, the New Unit had a pig tail/Crimp connector, that I had to splice the OE wire to connect to it. This was the only thing that made it stick out as an aftermarket Item.

2 Days later, AC still blowing Cold. (Maybe i should have waited to post this review)

Comments about Driveworks Air Conditioning Compressor with Clutch - Remanufactured:

Replaced the compressor in a 2006 Honda Odyssey...must admit, this is a tough job but worth the effort. Make sure you work with your Advance Auto folks to get all the items you need to complete the job correctly. Hardest part is figuring out how to get the compressor out of the Honda Ody. At first it seemed impossible to get this out bit a little care a thought it will remove fine. Make sire the flush your system with the can aerosol flush...that stuff is awesome by the way. Also ensure you have PAG oil to lube your new compressor. I have been running this one one for a year and no problems...good luck!

I had a professional mechanic install it but it seems to be working great as of this date and about 2 weeks installed.

How much oil is needed to add

            A:

Hi there! Happy to help with your question! Our AC compressors will come with a little oil already in the compressor to keep its internal parts lubricated. The amount will be in the instructions manual that is included. When adding oil you drain what is in the compressor then add what is recommended by the manufacturer. If you can provide the vehicle year make model and engine size we can research this further, you can refer to a repair manual, you can get in touch with your local store or a certified mechanic.
