        The advance auto store person mentioned something about additional equipment needed for the warranty on this item. Can you tell me the particulars? I assume that a flush kit is required. I though he mentioned one other item.

          If you have not done this job before, this is really not a job for beginners. The are a couple of rules to be considered when working with the a/c system. To preform this task you are going to need a freon recovery system. I strongly suggest consulting with your local mechanic before attempting to replace this part.
