I got on the chat line and asked about this unit coming with pump oil already added and was told that it did indeed come with pump which is correct? Do I need to add pump oil or not add pump oil? If so how much oil does it require?
Asked on 7/9/2015 by Billy from lagrange, Ga

      1 answer

Hi Billy, happy to assist you! This part should come with pre-oiled. However, drain any oil shipped in compressor used for lubrication during shipping only, and add the proper amount of PAG oil. Oil must be added through the fill bolt of the compressor, when applicable. After everything has been installed, use your hand or a spanner wrench to rotate the clutch 10 to 15 times before you turn the system on. This will clear the system of lubricants.

Does this part come with oil inside? Is it ok to reinstall the refrigerant lines, turn on the vehicle, and then use a can of compressed oil?

Does not come with oil inside. It is not advisable to reinstall lines or use oil when the vehicle is turned on.
