I figured out online what part was needed when the blower on my 20034 Trailblazer stopped working. I ordered the part online from Advance Auto Parts and followed the body style and model to the letter. Unfortunately, the part that was shipped was for a car with the manual temperature/blower control. The part I needed was for the auto temp/fan control model. Of course the unit fits, but the wiring is not the same. The auto control has 3 wires, the manual has 7 (1 power, 1 ground and 5 speeds as opposed to 1 power, 1 ground and 1 speed control for the FET). The part is unreturnable so I am out [$] and ended up going to the dealership and paying $95 for the CORRECT part that I could check before leaving the store. I will never buy parts online from AAP again

Be careful. This is NOT the unit for the cars with automatic temperature control. This is for the manual fan control only. The automatic control only has 3 wires coming in from the control module. This unit had 7, with one for each fan speed (the 3-wire version is power, ground and speed control) I bought this one and basically threw it away and purchased the correct one from the [@] so I could put eyes on it before buying it
