Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Vacuum Switching Solenoid Valve:

Used on 01 eclipse. Put it on after a day car wouldnt idle and shut off. Checked all vac hoses and decided to put old part back on. Guess what this junk part helped me figure out the solenoid was not the issue. Dont waste your money on this. Lasts for about 24 hours.

I went to advance and auto zone both to get this part and i have a 2003 eclipse gs, replacing the EGR solenoid is not very hard to do, but I've had 2 of this product each time the engine light came back on after a few days and this last time my code is reading i have a large leak im tired of replacing it with this junk part. it does fit but i would not buy it again.

                        A:

The manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP sensor) is one of the sensors used in an internal combustion engine's electronic control system. Engines that use a MAP sensor are typically fuel injected. The manifold absolute pressure sensor provides instantaneous manifold pressure information to the engine's electronic control unit (ECU). We suggest the BWD/Intermotor MAP Sensor (Part# 50500) which is an exact fit for your 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.5L. For any further assistance, please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.
