Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Transmission Pan With Drain Plug:

Make sure the drain plug is very tight - it likes to leak. The drain plug is now the lowest thing on the pan to catch and break off.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Transmission Pan With Drain Plug:

Nice quality pan with the added benefit of a drain plug that OEM doesn't have. Dorman doesn't list a part for my 2000 Saturn LS2, but this one fits all GM 4T40E and 4T45E transmissions just fine (my 2000 has a 4T45E). Also used the Felpro gasket (which matches OEM), as the basic rubber one that comes with the Driveworks filter kit isn't high quality. Note: after installation, double check that the drain-plug is tight; mine seemed closed, but dripped a little until I re-tightened it.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Transmission Pan With Drain Plug:

Fit well my Malibu 2008 2LT. This is money well spent that made your job of draining transny fluid a lot of easier, like the oil change.
I drain the fluid only at 30K and drop the pan, replace the filter at 60K.

I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual for your vehicle. This will have many of the specifications and locations of parts needed for a variety of repairs.

they added the drain plug on the pan, your stock pan will not have one, its just an improvement.
