Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Transmission Pan With Drain Plug:

Bought this to have a pan with a drain plug and avoid a big mess when changing tranny fluid next time - I was afraid installing an aftermarket drain plug in the old pan might cause a leak. I was very disappointed when the drain plug in the new pan leaked! I used some RTV to hopefully stop the leak, wish I'd used some on the threads before refilling the tranny. The pan itself seems pretty well made.

I need to see if this transmission pan fits my vehicle, and the 'check fitment' feature on your website is not working. The part number is 265-805 (Dorman transmission pan with drain plug). It is to be used on a 1990 Ford Bronco with the 5.8 (351) motor. The 'OD off' button is on the dash and I believe it is an E4OD transmission (automatic of course, with overdrive). If it is not correct, will you accept the pan back for credit?

Don't go with the 5456 pan. That is for the C6 transmission. The 265-805 won't work even though it's for the e4od because it has smaller bolt holes. 1996 and new use this pan.

No, I am sorry. The Dorman - OE Solutions Transmission Pan with Drain Plug - Part No. 265-805 will not work on your 1990 Ford Bronco with the 5.8L (351) motor. Instead please check the Spectre Trans Pan C6 Chrome - Part No. 5456 which would be an exact fit for your vehicle.
