  • Q:

Can you tell me if purchasing this circuit board will fix my problem. My problem is when I turn on my left turn signal, all of the lights in the tail light are flashing instead of just the yellow light, like on the right side. On the inside the blinker will blink normal, but sometimes it blinks fast, like when bulb is going out or out. Well when it is blinking normal, I belive it is blinking correctly from the outside; however, when I press on the brake, that is when it starts to blink fast and that is when all lamps are blinking.

It could be that but we are unable to diagnose vehicles over the website, but what i can recommend is to take your vehicle to your local mechanic.

  • Q:

I see that you have the same part number for left and right side, DO YOU HAVE TO CUT THE WIRE TO MAKE IT SHORTER FOR THE ONE SIDE OR JUST COIL IT UP AT THE BOTTOM?

      A:

There is no need to cut the wire. Just coil it up at the bottom or push it out of the way and you should be fine.

  • Q:

    Hi,

Could this circuit board cause a higher current in the stop bulb and therefore the bulb doesn't last very long? Please let me know.

    Thank You

I don't know the correct answer to your question, but I can tell you that my left tail light stop/park light keeps getting fried. The plastic underneath the electrical connection melts so much that contact between the incoming electricity and wire on the lightbulb loses contact. It is my understanding that this problem is intrinsic with the assembly, and you have to replace the whole thing. The same part runs you $55 at a dealership. I'm buying mine through O'Reilly's as they have a lifetime warranty and will price match Advance Auto's price! I believe Advance Auto's warranty is only 1 year.
