Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Rear Axle Shaft, Left or Right:

being able to get this in a kit was great bought all my other axle seals and bearings for the rest of the axle and when prepping to install the included bearing I noticed for one thing china stamped on it and the bearing looked really cheep compared to the old bearings and the new ones I had purchased for the rest of the job I almost went and got another new bearing to match the other side but second guessed myself never had an issue with Dorman products lets just run it well It made it about 10,000 miles in 5 months and the noise was back. I removed the axle shaft and either this shaft is soft or the bearing was indeed junk and has cut through the axle shaft approx 15 thousandths. 20+ year experience in the field I am uncertain on this product but feel it was probably the bearing that failed so if using I would buy a national or Timken bearing
