Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Power Window Switch - Console, 2 Button:
Once I isolated the problem to the switch it was easy to fix. Broke the plastic faceplate getting it out of door molding and had to RTV it back in place. No fault of the switch!

Q:2005 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2L 134CI, How do you replace the power window switch ? I already have a one that I ordered a short time ago. I need to know how to dis-connect from the old one to connect the new one the proper way.
A:Hi Cityguy1948, I'm glad to help you! You would have to carefully use a pick or small screwdriver to pop out the switch, then use a small screw driver to push the lock tab on the connector and unplug the wiring. The plug can only go one way on the switch.
Q:How do you remove the unit including the wires from the unit to be able to replace the new one?
A:Hi Cityguy1948, to further assist with the power window switch, please provide us the year, make, model and engine size of your vehicle.
