Check Vehicle Fit

Although no plastic fluid reservoir is completely safe to cracking, some are less susceptible than others. We use blow-molded plastic for our Power Steering Reservoir, for extreme under hood heat.

Product Features:
  • Includes reservoir cap and level sensor (where applicable)
  • Direct replacement for a proper fit every time
  • Weather-resistant
  • Rigorous quality control measures have been undertaken to ensure that this part conforms to product standards

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Power Steering Reservoir:

Will not fit a 5.0 GT, the return line needs to point straight back to clear the bracket, I had to purchase the complete pump to get the correct hose configuration

I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

It's held on with a large O-ring as shown in the photo. You can twist/pull it off relatively easily. The new one installs in the same manner, though rubbing a little fluid/oil on the O-ring will help it go on more easily.
