Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions HVAC Air Door Actuator:

Not a very exciting part, it just switches from heat to A/C. The only thing really to be said is it works correctly.

My system is a climate control system and all electronic. I have no air blowing out of the center vents and it only blows out defrost and lower vent, no matter the selection. It does go from hot to cool, and ac gets cold. Would this part fix the issue? How do I install it? I have a 1997 Oldsmobile Regency with the only available 3.8L

Hi MaverickBWS, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

The HVAC Air Door Actuator may be the possible cause of the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
