  • Q:

I have a 2005 GMC Yukon the A/C goes from cold to hot sometimes, if I stop and restart the engine it works cold again, I was told it might be Temperature door actuators, where are the located so I can replace them if thats the problem? When I choose for the vents from dash to floor or defroster vents the air goes to each one.

The blend door actuator on your 2005 GMC Yukon should be located on the driver side below the dash and right next to vent. It has a hole in it that ties to a shaft inside the vent.
