Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Hazard Warning Light Switch:

I bought this part as a replacement for my wifes 2004 Saturn Vue. The original switch had slid back into the dash some time ago, and after a recent period of intermittent function, had quit altogether. The changeout was difficult without major dissasembly of the console and dash, but this part was a perfect match, so I was able to reach up under the dash, fish the old one out, disconnect it and connect the new one by feel. The only other problem I encountered was that the retaining clips were broken in the dash. The switch has plastic ears that engage in slots inside the dash to hold it in place. The back of these slots were very thin and had broken out, letting the original switch slide back. I was able to carefully super glue the new switch into place, so my repair is somewhat permanent, but hopefully good for the duration. The only difference I've noticed is this switch is quieter than the original.
