Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Hazard Warning Light Switch:

It fits well and works when new. Easy install. Keep the receipt: you will be replacing it with another one in a year or so. They don't seem to last very long.

I would recommend this if you can install it yourself. If you have to pay someone for the install, get one from the dealer.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Hazard Warning Light Switch:

Used this to fix the extra clicking from the hazard switch on my mother in law's car ('02 Malibu). There was a recall on this hazard switch but the local dealer wanted $100 to do a diagnostic to verify this was the problem. Easy install and a perfect fit, unable to tell from the OEM.

            • Q:

I have a 2000 chevy Malibu that had a defective hazard switch, so I replaced it with this one. After a few weeks of driving, the turn signals turn on but do not blink? Is the hazard switch the problem?

It could be your turn signal flasher.
