    98 kia sportage 4x4
    the pictured product does not match my existing part.
    the fuel pump has 8 screws that secure it that go through the ring and screw into the tank not the friction ring that is tapped into place.
    I know newer models use bolts but Im unsure on the quantity of those used.

    Im looking for the replacement ring and screws

This Dorman OE Solutions Fuel Pump Lock Ring is not the correct part for your car, that is why it does not match your existing part.This part is for 1983 - 2005 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. If you need the tank seal for your 1998 Kia Sportage 2.0L 4x4, the Part No is TS8039.

    This looks different than the lock ring securing the fuel pump in my '02 impala. Mine is rusted and I bent the posts I need to hammer to secure it. Will this work to replace it?

      Hi Dave! I see that this fuel pump lock ring is not an ideal part for your 2002 Chevrolet Impala. Currently, I am unable to locate an exact lock ring for your vehicle online. However, if you could please visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you.
