what part goes in the hole on top of one of the ports. not where the carb goes but on the port itself. I need a gasket to cover that up.

There are three holes in your intake manifold. There is a stud that goes through the top. The rear two holes are bolts. It clamps the intake and exhaust manifolds together. There should be a copper washer seal that goes against the manifold and then the nut.
