Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Engine Oil Cooler Line:

For a Dorman product, this was a disappointment. The oil cooler lines leaked at the radiator worse than the old lines. Clearly, the O.D of the tubing is just slightly smaller than the OEM tubing, which causes heavy leakage. I had to remove and install over-sized "O" rings to get it to stop leaking. Once I did that, it has been OK. And in all fairness, those cheap, snap-lock connectors are junk. No wonder GM went bankrupt!

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Engine Oil Cooler Line:

The plug on the side of the aluminum block of the unit on the end that bolts to the engine block leaks. This plug was sealed at the factory, not well apparently.

Hi Dan, my answer to your question on the Dorman - OE Solutions Engine Oil Cooler Line - Part No. 625-168 is that we do not recommend you blocking the line off by putting a plate, since the engine needs the cooler for proper operation and long life.
