Product well built and fit perfectly. Plastic bushing on hose and had to figure out what role it played on the radiator hose but all was well.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Engine Heater Hose Assembly:

The part was easy to install but the plastic that is made out of you can expect to change out again. I would like to see them make the Y connection out of aluminum or something like that instead of plastic.

    Pros

    • Hoses Fit 1st Time

    Cons

    • Cant Buy Just Supply Hose
    • Started Leaking After 4wk

    Best Uses

    • Oe Leaked These Leaked

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Engine Heater Hose Assembly:

Purchased these because they were the only ones in stock. I only needed the supply hose, but it is not available that way from this vendor. There are @ 7 clamps holding all this together where the OE only had 3 clamps. A lot more chances for a leak. After 4 weeks of driving, the hose started leaking under the protective plastic cover. Not too happy with product.

    Pros

    • Same Configuration As Oe

    Cons

    • Didn't Need Both Hoses

    Best Uses

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Engine Heater Hose Assembly:

Very good product! Same clamps and configuration as the original. The only down side is I couldn't purchase the "y" connector by itself and had to purchase both heater hose assemblies instead of the one I needed. Other than that awesome product!

What is the best tool to use to replace the heater hose assembly?

          A:

I'm glad to help, Diana! These are clamp on hoses and one port is a quick disconnect. The clamps can be removed and installed with just a pair of pliers. The quick connect side just snaps on and requires a disconnect tool to remove it.
