Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Dorman DiRECT-FIT Tire Pressure Monitoring System Sensor:

Had no problem with installation. Fit just like the original one. Nice that the valve is replaceable without out replacing the sensor. I still needed the dealer to reset the light, but the savings was still substantial.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Dorman DiRECT-FIT Tire Pressure Monitoring System Sensor:

Have the tire shop replace your old tpms with a non tpms valve stem. What the description doesn't say is you need to pay someone to activate the sensor to your car. I replaced 2. Now I'm out 120 bucks for the parts and another 20 to have the tires broken down and re-installed and I'm still staring at the light! I have to pay a shop to activate the stupid thing. Dorman needs to send Advanced the activation tool so they can activate it after installation.

A new California state law took effect mandating that automotive service providers must check the tire pressure on vehicles they service and inflate tires to their recommended pressure. The law also requires the service provider to record the service on the service invoice and maintain copies of the invoices for three years for inspection by Air Resource Board personnel upon request.
