Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Door Lock Actuator, Front Right, Rear Right:

This unit would fit physically, but would not work because the arm roller is to short for my 2005 Accura. The roller would come out of the clevis and then loose contact with the actuator arm and not move the lock anymore. Looks like you need a color green arm as on other more expensive actuators. If your unit has a green arm, make sure the replacement arm on the actuator is green.(it is a bit longer will work.)

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Door Lock Actuator, Front Right, Rear Right:

The Original door lock actuator finally gave out after nearly 8 years. I replaced it with this product and it failed after only 4 months of use!!! Don't waste your time or money. [*] Door lock failed in the closed position. Had to pry on the door lock with vise grips until the door would open.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Door Lock Actuator, Front Right, Rear Right:

This product was for a 2005 Acura TSX, passager front door. The assembly is an exact fit. The hardness of this install is 9.5/10. It took about 2 1/2 hours. It's likely going to be a similar install on your vehicle in terms of time. Also, be careful when taking off the door panel! There are ALOT of clips and screws in the door panel!! Overall, the part arrived on time, and it works!

                A:

It might be the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
