product bolted right on. new gasket was wrong size and shape. Engine codes went away no problem. I do recommend pulling unit every 6 months and check for water damage and rust.

Disapointed once again with Dorman

I spoke to Dorman's customer service twice about not supplying the correct gasket. I insisted that it is NOT the correct one. If you look at the picture Advance supplies they show the correct...Read complete review

I spoke to Dorman's customer service twice about not supplying the correct gasket. I insisted that it is NOT the correct one. If you look at the picture Advance supplies they show the correct gasket! The tech said go ahead and use the gasket supplied. Wrong answer, pump leaks with this gasket. GM apparently makes several different manfolds for different vehicles and Dorman simply ignores this. You get what you pay for! I'll spend the money and buy the AC Delco part next time.

                    I'm glad to assist you! This part carries a limited lifetime replacement warranty. The lifetime warranty part can be refunded for cash/credit within the 90 time frame. After that time expires, it can only be exchanged for a new item. So the warranty is valid the life of the part as long as the customer owns the vehicle.

                    This Dorman - OE Solutions (A.I.R.) Air Injection Reaction Pump, Smog Pump - part# 306-010 is an exact fit for your 2000 Chevrolet Impala LS. The A.I.R (secondary air injection) pump on your Impala should be located underneath your driver's side front fender (in front of the tire), you will find a black removable panel on the bottom. This panel can be removed or adjusted by removing the three screws attached at the bottom (front) of the fender and two screws inside the wheel well towards the bottom front. With the car jacked up and safely standing on jack stands, remove the front driver's side tire. You can now fold this black panel back (it has a hinge point for this purpose) and gain access to the secondary air pump. For any further assistance, please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.
