This product is for GM products only. This is not noted on the web site. I didn't find out until I had ordered the part and received it. I was very disappointed.

Will this product work on a 2010 GMC Terrain? I haven't pulled my linkage transmission out yet but i hear they have plastic bushings that fail causing the linkage to detach from the motor arm. I also looked up Dorman wiper linkage bushing assortment #49447 and wondered if this is what I need for the repair?

        Thanks,

        Dan L.

No, Dan! This Dorman - Help Wiper Linkage Clip Kit - Part No. 49444 for older GM cars from the 60-70's. There are no serviceable parts on the wiper linkage. You need to replace the complete linkage assembly - Part No. 602-211.

Hi Dyan, I'm glad to assist you. This Dorman - Help Wiper Linkage Clip Kit (Part No. 49444) can be used for older style gm ball stud style wiper linkage so the linkage does not pop off. It clamps over the factory ball to secure it in place so it can not pop off.

Hi Dw, glad to assist you! This part should work fine on your 2004 Pontiac Grand AM GT as this part is for 1976 and newer GM make vehicles. However, it is not an exact fit for your vehicle.

How do I install on my 2004 saturn ion?

          A:

I'm happy to help Hasan! This Dorman Help Wiper Linkage Clip Kit for 1976 and Newer GMs is not an exact fit for your vehicle so there won't likely be direct installation instructions. If you are looking for a Windshield Wiper Linkage for your 2004 Saturn Ion I would recommend Part No. 602-208. For installation instructions I would also recommend getting a repair manual, Part No. 87011. The manual will help with many more repairs than just the wiper linkage.

You don’t need this if the plastic button piece is still in the arm just put a small hose clamp around it pop it on to the motor arm and tighten it down works great.
