      A:

Look behind the wiper arm, you will notice a long, rectangular space. This space houses with wiper arm's spring. Look at the spring and how it stretches. If the spring is worn, it will be loose. If the wiper arm is difficult to move, or if it makes a creaking metal sound, look to see if the spring is rusted or corroded. Either problem requires you to replace the spring. Remove ignition key and pull off cover. Insert the hex head socket over the top of the wiper arm pivot assembly at the base of the wiper arm. Turn the socket counter clockwise with a socket wrench to remove the bolt holding the wiper arm in place, pull off wiper arm.
