the ac compressor went out on my 95 s10 pu so I found this product on line and it is great, I got it at advance auto Advance Part # (34152) for around $35. The only problem I had was the compressor bolts had a flange made on to them and I could not get them past the clutch assembly, so I ground a little flat spot on the clutch to get the bolts out. Once I got the bolts out and removed the old compressor, I installed the pulley, adjusted the tension (same belt) cranked it up and it worked perfect, I would recomend this to anyone who is like me and had rather spend around $35 than $200, It is made by Dorman and if you go to their website (www.Dorman.com) and put in AC bypass pulley it will give you a list of all the vehicles it will fit.

This a/c delete pulley made the space under my hood look a lot better considering my a/c didn't work and the compressor was in the way I cut a bunch of the aluminum bracket off for looks and painted everything I just wish they made the pulley in billet then it would be AWESOME

Comments about Dorman - Help Air Conditioning Bypass Pulley:

This is a temperary fix 'til I can get extensive AC system repair. Pulley was easy to install and quiet. The fist time I hit the gas pedal after the install I noticed the differance in performance. It's been 2 weeks now sinse the install, and I'm averaging about 20 miles per tank more on gas milage. Do I or do I not want to get the AC system fixed is the question right now.

With alot of vehicles, they provide belt routing diagrams for using smaller belts to bypass the A/C system. A look in a belt catalog would be able to tell you the belt number that you need to use to bypass the A/C compressor if you are able to with your vehicle.
