    Had my first 85984 as a starter button from 2013 until now. Replaced with a new 85984 tonight. Job is easy. Does not matter which of the 2 wires goes on which side. No key cylinder to wear out.

        Used this switch in a custom hunting rig for a buddy and its stood up the the elements for 3 years so far. sometimes, simple is the only way to get the job done.

          Can I wire direct to solenoid on cub cadet 25 HP, the only way I can start now is to jump the solenoid with a screwdriver and it will start if I have the key in on position. Thanks for any help on this matter
