Would be nice if they included, even at extra cost, sealing splice kit.

Do you think a gradma would be Able to install allow beam bulb in a 2001 camry? Any tips?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

I'm glad to assist, Joyce! It's certainly possible for a grandma to replace the headlight on a 2001 Toyota Camry. The difficulty of the installation will depend upon your skill level. On the 2001 Camry, the headlight connections are located under the hood and are easily accessed from above. Make sure to not touch the bulb with your bare hand. If you do, make sure to wipe off the bulb.

AutoCraft Nitrile Gloves, 120 Pack (Part No. AC996 or AC997) will ensure that your bare hand does not touch the bulb. You may also want some Permatex Bulb Grease (Part No. 09941) to ensure a secure connection. If you would like some additional installation instructions or details you may wish to purchase a repair manual for your vehicle, such as Haynes Part No. 92007 or Chilton Part No. 68201.

        • Q:

This product did not specify what gauge wire number it is. This is very helpful when you're choosing butt connector sizes. Furthermore, the wires are both black which is hard to differentiate when usually black is for negative and the other colors (red, white, etc.) are for positive.

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Glad to assist, Ahmed! These are 16 gauge wires. It doesn't matter on a 2 wire socket. You're just completing the circuit.
