      With reference to your inquiry on freeze plugs (Dorman - Autograde Brass Cup-Type Expansion Plug 38.25mm Diameter, 0.220 Inch Height - Part No. 565-077) on your 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis with 4.6L FI engine, it is 3 on either side under the exhaust manifold and normally one or two in the front on either side and the same on back.
