Double check that the inlet thread size of this product matches (exactly) the thread size of the brake line nut. A 3/8" nut will appear to thread into this product nicely at the store but that's ~0.5mm too small. Once you try to tighten it down, the threads will slip. And no, thread tape won't fix that because the brake fluid will dissolve it.
