Seems after I wrote the review last time Denso updated their website. Somehow this plug is now the correct one for 2000 I30 V6. SK16PR-L11
Advance site was correct and Denso is wrong...Thats scary??
Now they both state SK16PR-L11 is correct..Just updating.

Comments about Denso SK16PR-L11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug:

I entered my car 2000 Infiniti I30 with 3.0 V6 to look for spark plugs. A spark plug that is incorrect for my car is shown on your site stating its correct for this car.

It is Denso SK16PR-L11. The correct plug shown on Denso's site is Denso SK20PR-L11.

The difference is the 16 in the number witch is the heat range. A 16 installed could in fact due major internal damage to my engine including burning a hole in the piston if the cars driven on a very long road trip and since they can be installed for yrs and up to 100,000 miles these days it eventually will take its toll on an engine.

It is a hot plug and not the original heat range plug for this car. Please visit Denso's site and update your plug info.
        Thank you

        • Q:

I asked about heat ranges on this spark plug my car 2008 Hyundai accent only has one motor in that year the heat range is what? This plug is saying 16 for a heat range then I look at other plugs and they range from 1 to 5. What is right or do I put this plug in and burn a valve in my engine? Please tell me what is the correct heat range for my vehicle and for that plug. Thank you for your time in advance.

            A:

Sorry for any confusion caused. The Denso SK16PR-L11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug with Part No. 3395 has a heat range of 5. An Iridium Spark plug with 5 Heat range and 0.044 plug gap is ideal for your vehicle.
