I changed plugs before a Christmas vacation to PA a 960 mile trip one way. I instantly noticed an inprovement in throttle response and an unexpected increase of 3-4 miles per gal. in fuel economy on the trip as compared to other trips I've taken. I highly recommend these plugs.

Comments about Denso SK16HR11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug:

My first experience with Denso Iridium spark plugs came several years ago when I installed them in my '97 Mustang Cobra. I immediately noticed a big difference in power and performance. So when it came time to replace the plugs in my '03 Nissan Maxima, Denso Iridium was the logical choice.

              A:

Hi Onewyorkboy, good question! This Denso SK16HR11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug - Part No. 3417 is pre-gapped at 0.043 inch from the factory. However, the gap must be adjusted for the vehicle that the spark plug is intended for. Those with modified engines must remember that a modified engine with higher compression or forced induction will typically require a smaller gap settings.
