Did not fit my VW Eurovan

from Panama City, FL

Comments about Denso PW16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug:

I have no idea whether this is a good product, but it is not the correct one. The top also needs to be threaded in order to fit the spark plug wires in a VW Eurovan.

Not for BMW!

from Raleigh, NC

Comments about Denso PW16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug:

This sparkplug can not have the top electrode unscrewed for BMW style wires. You have to have a threaded post, which many other brands have that then slide right into the wire set. Denso - not so.

Comments about Denso PW16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug:

Denso has an excellent spark plug, but they don't have the proper cofiguration for this engine. It uses 14mm by one inch thread reach with a taper seat and a long extended tip. Denso's plug is 3/4" reach with a gasket and standard length tip. I swapped these for Champion Double Platinum at the Advance store. All other plug brands listed by Advance are correct for these Chrysler/Dodge 3.3L and 3.8L engines.

Comments about Denso PW16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug:

these were advertised as applicable to a 1986 E30, but the top does not unscrew, so they won't fit the stock spark plug wires. I had to return them, and buy another brand at a much higher cost. Also lost my online 15% discount!

I have got a 1999 mitsubishi mirage. I recently bought a 3-elecrtrode spark plug for it. I wonder if it is ok for the car or do i need a 1-electrode spark plug? The 3-electrode spark plug has not caused any issues btw.

Hi Charlie! I think you should be able to use a 3 electrode spark plug in your 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage. However, when it comes to repair and maintenance it is always recommended referring the vehicle owner's manual for the exact specifications to get better and safer results.

what is the most efficient spark plug for saving gas for a dodge intrepid 3.3 1995? oliver

NGK, Denso, Bosch, Autolite etc are all similar in quality. Normally Spark plugs will not increase gas mileage. However, doing a tune up that includes spark plugs may help improve gas mileage. Typically, the only time you will see increase in gas mileage is when you are fixing a problem with the vehicle such as faulty oxygen sensors or a very dirty air filter. This Denso PW16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug is an ideal fit for your 1995 Dodge Intrepid 3.3.
