2004 VW Passat GLS 1.8T AWM 5spd, worked great as a replacement for the stock NGK laser platinums. Very similar in design to the NGKs, (although the NGK plug has the finer tip center electrode, both plugs have similar insulator and metal designs) with the 2 welded platinum firing tips. Old plugs were still gapped OK but had some deposits on them and was causing a slight misfire / lopiness at idle but no check engine light. These Densos solved that problem immediately. Also noticed improved off idle and part throttle response. Seems like less gas pedal is required to motivate the vehicle. Engine runs smoother as well. Car ran great, but now runs even better. 166,000 miles on the ODO and runs like a new car. Very satisfied with this purchase. Also, a set of 4 cost the same as 1 NGK plug... I recommend these plugs, you should not be disappointed.

After 14,000 miles I pulled the spark plugs to take a look and found that the ground strap tips had eroded away. On the good side the plugs are super clean and the center electrode shows no signs of wear. I did not replace these plugs with the same Denso Platinum TT but will use them again if Denso fixes this problem and make the ground electrode more durable. I would even pay more money if this spark plug design provided a longer service life. I would recommend this product to a friend with the understanding these plugs will only last one year more or less as designed to function.

My girlfriends car needed a tune up. I researched several spark plugs and went with Denso platinum TT. I immediately noticed the engine running smoother and a little pick up nothing serious but noticeable. 200 miles later and gas mileage has increased slightly. The Denso platinum TT is a good choice for this 2003 Honda Accord LX 4cyl.

The spark plugs were easy to install. Upon installation, there was a noticeable improvement in engine performance, partly because it was discovered the first cylinder had a slightly loose spark plug, but it was not solely the cause of accelleration issues.

I recently acquired a 98 Camry with 100K miles and an incomplete maintenance history. I wanted to replace the plugs and wires to have a baseline, and these came up as a good replacement. Installation was quick and easy, and the response does seem a little better, though it's hard to say what's responsible for that.
These might not last as long as the double-electrode platinums, but I don't mind changing plugs a little more often, and seeing how the top end is doing.

I did an engine turn-up with these Denso spark plugs on my 95 Camry which failed e-tests previously. These plugs are way way better than the Bosch fusion spark plugs/+4 that I had on the Camry comparing the results from failed and passed e-tests. The Bosch spark plugs showed lots of carbon built-up when I pulled them out. The Denso spark plugs are cheaper and better for my Camry.

What's the recommended gap for a 2009 GTi that's been "chipped"? I just bought 4 Denso plugs and installed 5/1 (Order #18772642) and replaced the 4 Coil packs 2 days ago and am guessing that the Denso plugs aren't working well as I'm getting numerous misfires (Code P0302/304)!

This Denso PK20TT Platinum TT Spark Plug - Part No. 4504 is an exact fit for your 2009 Volkswagen GTI and is recommended to gap 0.044 inches. The code P0302 and P0304 are a Cylinder Number 2 Misfire. Start at the front of the engine, where all the accessories are mounted (alternator, power steering pump, etc) then count each each spark plug from left to right in normal order. The cylinder to the left will be 1, and the cylinder to the far right will be 4. When you locate number 2 cylinder, check the plug wire for damage. Remove the spark plug and inspect it for wear. A new set of spark plugs and wires will probably fix your problem.
