My 03 matrix has about 125,000 miles on it. Some of those miles with the sportscar club on a autoX track.
The pocketlogger agrees with what I thought I felt; better response time, slightly faster rev. As a bonus, they last much longer than the OEM did. (Plugs may last 100K mi for drivers that are not as fussy about their engines.)

Comments about Denso PK16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug:

Quality replacement product for my 1995 Honda Accord V6 OEM plugs. I'm catching up on a lot of very deferred maintenance and these plugs were a good balance of value and quality. All were in excellent condition out of the box, no defects or imperfections, and all plugs fit perfectly (no sketchy threads or other issues you might see in low-quality products). I considered higher performance grade plugs as I am trying to extend the life of my vehicle as much as possible while continuing to get acceptable driving performance but I chose to save the money and I am glad that I did.

A great option vs. OE copper plugs. Instead of 30,000 mile changes with copper...these can go 90,000 due to the harder tips. Sure you will drop .1 MPG but it's worth not having to replace 3x more often and in the end cost less.

Hi Dion, that's a good question! Yes, this Denso PK16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug - Part No. 4503 is pre-gapped at 0.040 inch from the factory. However, the gap must be adjusted for the vehicle that the spark plug is intended for. Those with modified engines must remember that a modified engine with higher compression or forced induction will typically require a smaller gap settings.
