I was a little sceptical when I took the first plug out of the box. The plug that came out of my 2001 4runner was the double ground type of plug. I wasn't sure if this plug would be proper to use. I called my local Toyota Dealer and made an inquiry. Once he heard the name Denso he said he would not hesitate to use these parts in his own Toyota vehicle. He told me to make sure the plugs were the same thread legnth going into the head and you will have no problem

These plugs work great. Performance was restored and I am certain my gas mileage has improved.

Luckily, I compared these plugs to old ones. These were so much longer, that had I installed them and tried to start the car, there would have been catastophic engine damage. No fault of store employee, listed wrong in computer!!

Comments about Denso PK16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug:

I have typically always gone with the cheapest of spark plugs. They all seem to do the same to me. After all I'm putting them in a 2001 Chevy Tracker. Not to much power to gain or lose in a 2.0 engine. Well the time before last I splurged and bought some E3 plugs that were terribly expensive. I must say I did not notice a thing different from them and actually I noticed that I would lose power going up hills. Now this could be problems other than the plugs but it was noticeable. Well when I put these in the other day I did notice that the same hills in was going up didn't give me the same problems losing power. Coincidence? I don't know.

IS THIS PREGAP ACCORDING TO THE GAP SPECIFICATION OF 2002 HONDA ODYSSEY? wHAT OTHER PRODUCT COULD BE BEST FOR MY 2002 HONDA ODYSSEY?
Asked on 3/25/2016 by DION from tn

        1 answer

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

Hi Dion, that's a good question! Yes, this Denso PK16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug - Part No. 4503 is pre-gapped at 0.040 inch from the factory. However, the gap must be adjusted for the vehicle that the spark plug is intended for. Those with modified engines must remember that a modified engine with higher compression or forced induction will typically require a smaller gap settings.
