Comments about Denso Oxygen Sensor - Universal:

This was virtually exactly the same as the Denso sensor I bought about two years ago that was a direct fit for my 240sx. The only difference is the single wire on this one is longer, and the universal is cheaper. I am sure someone could use a longer wire for their application. These Denso sensors last a long time, just don't cross thread them upon install and they will work a long while.

      • Q:

I have a 1995 Chevy C1500 with a 5.7L V8. I aint sure where my O2 sensors are and how many there are with it. I used a diagnostic on it and it said my O2 sensor was my problem.
Asked on 4/10/2012 by Anonymous from Port Charlotte, FL

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

Any OBD II vehicle manufactured since 1995 will have one upstream oxygen sensor per cylinder bank, so your Chevy 5.7l will have two, fairly close to the exhaust manifolds. Then there is one before the catalytic convertor, and one after, these read the exhaust before and after the catalytic convertor to make sure it is doing its job properly.
