Was getting P032 code on 2004 Chrysler Town & Country, cleared w/ OBD scanner a few times, but it eventually was continuous. Read a number of posts which suggested replacing O2 scanner. In this case, the P032 indicated the #1 sensor which is before the catalytic converter. Read posts and Haynes which indicated a tool was needed. Bought part online from Advanced Auto and they loaned the tool(very nice). Sensor is screwed in about the middle of the car behind the engine. Can reach by laying over top of engine and shining flashlight. Might want to disconnect battery first, but I didn't. Removed by following wire to connector on left top of engine(behind air cleaner) and disconnecting the connector. Fed cable back to center of car and over top of engine. Pulled on spiral strain relief to pop off top of sensor and slid it along with jacket our of the way for socket. Slipped on special socket with 3/8" swivel + 12" + 2@3" extensions + 3/8" swivel head ratchet(so I could get proper angle) and it released fairly easily(engine was cold). Put anti-seize on new one, reached over top and threaded carefully(don't want to cross thread). Once finger tight, used swivel + extensions + swivel head ratchet to tighten, then fed wire and connected. Snapped spiral strain relief over top of sensor to make sure wire didn't touch anything. Cleared code with OBD scanner and after starting no more check engine light. BTW - went with this Denso product because 5 star rating and Bosch had very negative reviews on Advanced Auto site and other forums.

Had a code for Damaged heater within O2 sensor and bought this one, it fixed the check engine code but MPG still stays around 18 which is terrible for 3.8L 2005 Town and Country in Florida.. It fits perfect but don't expect any boost in MPG..

Bought a Bosch O2 sensor for my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and it did not work. Check engine light came back on right away. Put this one in and immediately the light went out. Do the homework before purchasing O2 sensor for Dodge vans.

Only replacement O2 sensor to consider. Tried the Bosch sensors but received error codes again within a few driven miles. Have had the Denso sensor in for several monthss and many 100s miles with no issues.

Replaced O2 sensor and cured trouble code with this Denso sensor. Bosch brand sensors are not compatible and continue to trip engine light. Spend a little more and get it done right the first time. Went thru 2 Bosch sensors before curing problem with oem style denso sensor.

Comments about Denso Oxygen Sensor - Direct Fit:

This was not the first item on your list but the reviews were better than for the other brands. I ordered and paid for this O2 sensor, picked it up the same day. The Advance counter guy was easy to deal with. My mechanic installed it the next day and the check engine light hasn't come on since. My mechanic told me he would have charged me almost twice as much for the same part. Since I had already diagnosed the problem with the code reader I also bought from Advance, I didn't have to pay for that labor either. Advance probably saved me enough to pay for the part :)

Installed on a 2005 Grand Caravan 3.8l V6. Check your manufacture date. must be before 07/08/04. I was able to install from above but it's a bit of a reach. Helps to have a O2 sensor socket but you might be able to get it with a open end wrench. Engine light cleared after about 30 miles of driving
