Had Check Engine Light On. Code PO135, upstream oxygen sensor.
Removal/install tips: Engine/exhaust room temperature The location is just at the beginning(car front) of the CAT. Used 7/8 flare nut wrench(those plumbing wrenches come in handy) and give it a good turn(counterclockwise).Leave loose and now use a 10m socket to remove bracket support for O2 wiring. Remove the wiring attachement plastic bracket on correct O2 sensor and then unscrew remove old o2 sensor. I cut the plastic rubber insert that was on the old o2 wiring and put a small pce of electrical tape to keep it on new wiring and then pushed it in place on the bracket support once the O2 sensor was screwed back in. PLEASE apply the anti-seize compound to the new O2 sensor threads. I let the cars computer auto reset the check engine light which went out after about 15 miles and 3 to 4 start ups.All said it took about 15 minutes and recommend this job to any Shade Tree Mechanic.

Installed in a 2004 Honda Civic and was a perfect fit. Reset the "Malfuntion indicator Lamp" and it has stayed out since changing this O2 Sensor.

This is the direct replacement of the 2004 Honda Civic LX manufacturer Air Fuel Sensor and it is easy to install. After the installation I erased the P0135 & P0134 code by the engine code scanner and took a test drive. The engine light has not illuminate during the test drive.

Comments about Denso Air Fuel Sensor - Direct Fit:

When ever buying an o2 sensor, always make sure that it's correct for the make/model of your car. Often times, the new computers in our cars are designed to read a certain voltage/measure, if it's the wrong o2 sensor, it may not fix your "Check Engine Light". Always buy Denso..

Check engine light cycling for a while now...finally took car to Advance and had them test. Front O2 sensor on CRV was bad, so I bought this one. It took about a half hour total to take off old one and replace. Not bad at all.

Comments about Denso Air Fuel Sensor - Direct Fit:

It only took me about 15 minutes to replace. I watched a video on YouTube to be sure it was something I could do before I committed to buy the part to do it myself. I had the 10mm socket to remove the bracket (that holds the front and rear O2 sensors to the frame), but I didn't have a wrench large enough to remove the old O2 sensor. However, I did have a large set of Channel Locks that were able to remove it. I was amazed at how easy it was. Since I had a code reader, I reset the P0135 code myself after the replacement. I immediately noticed a difference on how My CR-V ran. I checked all over the Net for the best price and fastest turnaround. With the discount of buying it online through Advance Auto Parts and picking it up at the store the next day (since I ordered the part late the night before), I couldn't find a better deal. Advance is my choice for price, quality, and convenience.
